We are playing again!

Dear HELLERAU audience,

we are pleased to announce that we can open again for our live audiences. Here we have compiled the most important points for your visit to the HELLERAU. The basis for this is the hygiene concept approved by the Health Department of the State Capital Dresden as well as the Corona Ordinance of the Free State of Saxony valid at the time.

Admission only for vaccinated and recovered persons with up-to-date test (2G+)
Wearing an FFP2 mask is compulsory on all routes and also during the event.

The 2G+ rule applies to attendance at our events, i.e. you can only attend our events if you have been vaccinated or have recovered and also have a daily test.

Excluded from the testing requirement are:

  • boostered persons,
  • children up to the age of 6,
  • persons who have been fully vaccinated and can also show proof of recovery, and
  • persons who have been fully vaccinated and whose last individual vaccination was at least 14 days and no more than three months ago.

The vaccination or convalescence certificate can be replaced by a test certificate for persons who do not receive a vaccination recommendation from the STIKO for health reasons. Please show the original medical certificate and a Corona test from accredited test centres that is no more than 24 hours old at the entrance.

Pupils who are subject to compulsory testing according to the school and day-care Corona Ordinance do not need a test. Please show your student ID at the entrance.

Please note: The one-time vaccination with Johnson & Johnson is no longer considered a complete vaccination since 15.01.2022. Those who have only been vaccinated once with Johnson & Johnson must now arrange for an additional mRNA vaccination.

Proof

Please provide proof of your vaccination with your vaccination card or certificate in a verified app (Corona app or COV Pass app).

As proof of recovery, please show us the original laboratory result, recovery certificate or medical certificate.

Please provide proof of the test via a verified app, the email or certificate from the test centre or a doctor.

There is no testing for visitors in HELLERAU.

You can find an overview of the Corona test centres in Dresden here.

Due to the mandatory minimum distance, there is only a limited number of seats. We therefore recommend that you buy tickets in advance online or at the advance booking offices.

Ticket reservations for the box office are not possible.

Remaining tickets may be available at the box office (late registration is required for this).

The box office opens two hours before the performance.
The Visitor Centre is open Mon – Sat/holidays 11am – 6pm and Sunday (01 May – 31 October) 1pm – 6pm and can be reached via ticket@hellerau.org or T 0351 264 62 46.

Advance booking for our performances currently takes place approx. 2 weeks before the respective event.

Admission to the events

Prior to your visit to HELLERAU, please perform a Corona self-check and ensure that you are free of Covid-19-type symptoms. Please bring a valid identity card or other form of identification.

Wearing an FFP2 mask is mandatory on all routes and also during the event.
In addition, please observe the AHA rules (distance, hygiene, mask).

Admission

Admission to the event rooms takes place at least 15 minutes before the performance begins in compliance with the Corona protection rules according to the one-way principle. After the end of the performance, please leave the performance space via the signposted exits or under the instruction of the front-of-house staff.

For barrier-free access to the auditorium, please contact our Visitor Centre in advance or speak to our front-of-house staff before admission begins.

Placement

In order to enable as many people as possible to visit HELLERAU, we allocate seats in the performance rooms exclusively as single seats in a chequerboard pattern.
There is a space between each two seats. For this reason, it is not possible for several people from one household to sit together. We ask for your understanding.

Cloakroom

To avoid crowding in the aisles, please leave your bags and jackets in your car if you arrive by car. We will only open the West cloakroom (in the foyer on the left) to avoid queuing in the box office area.

Toilets

The use of the sanitary area is limited to a maximum of four people at a time, in order to be able to guarantee the minimum distance of 1.5 m there as well. The toilets are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected at regular intervals.

Ventilation

The air-conditioning system in the Great Hall enables regular air exchange for up to 400 people.

With our new partner, the Lago Bar, we are redesigning our guest rooms. Until then, we will be offering drinks at the bar in the Dalcroze Hall before the events. We look forward to seeing you there.
